Steam Games SSD Suggestions?

For people who plan on doing some gaming we all know AAA titles are 100gb+

Any reccomendations on ssd or microssd with adapters? Also not sure how you direct your downloads to the SSD vs internal storage. Never used one for music before.

It's probably a re-badged Samsung or Sandisk...etc. Doubt it's worth buying the Tesla one as it probably isn't any better than what you can get off the shelf for less. Just need to find out which one it is.

I just put the Samsung Shield 1 TB SSD in my MS LR and when formatting the car prompted me to reserve 64GB for Sentry and the rest for Steam.

OEM accesories are often more expensive than internet specials. Tesla says their drives are Automotive Quality and will handle heat, cold, vibration, shock etc better than others. Cheapie solid state drives often available on line for around $100.

Yes, but Tesla likely rebadged an existing automotive-grade SSD out there, then marked up the price. Their standard 128GB SSDs are just Samsung sticks with a Tesla logo on them.

Someone, somewhere will eventually tear one down so we can see what they actually are.

The Samsung T7 SSD works great in the Tesla. I have the 500Gb but the 1 Tb model is only $100 on Amazon right now.

Yeah, my PS4 controller didn't really want to pair and when it did it didn't work. A PS5 controller worked perfectly and matches my interior(white/black) so I went with that.
