These kinds of things are serious. And definitely should be reported. And sometimes when I read about these issues with Tesla what comes to mind is that they're a very young car company. The larger car companies have had decades upon decades to attempt to perfect the manufacturing process and design. Of course there are recalls (I'm dealing with one now with my Benz) but the steering completely locking? Ouch. For the record, yes I'm still getting a Tesla. :-D

My wheel is locked solid right now too. I was trying leave work, where I drove to this morning uneventfully, and the wheel is not turning at all. It's giving me a steering assist reduced warning but this is not reduced, it's not there at all. This is a 1 week old model Y btw, 70 F and no rain even outside. Very scared.
