What's up everyone! I'm a new owner of a used 2017 Model S 75D. I got it from Tesla in January. I love the car and I'm happy with it. I'm in the process of getting some work done under the used warranty. I bought the car with 50k miles and I'm at 57k; yes I drive a long way to work.
There's a noise the car makes when turning the wheel when stopped and put in drive or reverse. Service Center is saying it may be normal but are still investigating. I wanted to see if anyone can provide some insight if it's normal or not.

    Thanks!

I'd guess the bearings in the front struts.

I'm hoping Service center will say something like this and fix it. Last time I went, they said it was the brakes. They changed the brakes but noise persists.

    Hi @MikeKholin,

You may want to ask if they have ever performed the power steering
    bolt replacement recall...
It's a remote possibility but worth checking.

    Good luck,

    Shawn

I will definitely it mention it to them. I'll update what they say. So far they're continuing to say it's normal, which I'm having a hard time believing.
They ordered upper control arms because I've been pushing back. They will schedule for me to bring the car back and reinspect it to see if it even needs upper control arm replacement.
