Steering rack difference between RWD & AWD

The steering rack just failed on my 2014 MS RWD. 23 months ago it failed and I had it replaced but they replaced it with a Dual Motor LHD steering rack. 14 months ago if failed again, this time replaced it with a RHD steering rack. Last night it failed again. Question is, is there a difference between the rack used in the RWD and AWD versions? Also, what is the difference between the RHD and LHD versions. I initially thought that meant left hand drive vs right hand drive cars, clearly that can’t be correct because the one that fail yesterday is a RHD version and my car is left hand drive; it just would not fit.

Mine was replaced last August.
I have a late 2014 S85 RWD and the invoice says "Steering Rack (LHD RWD) (1st Generation) (Remove & Replace)"
I always thought the LHD meant left had drive.
Where are you seeing the reference to LHD or RHD??
