Steering wheel - hidden

After reviewing this image:

It sure looks to me like the steering wheel has some kind of slip cover on it, although nicely finished. Would anyone who made it to the event care to comment? The wheel itself looks a little too padded, and the center of the wheel has no apparent seams for an air bag, nor an emblem for honking the horn.

It is a prototype so small things like an airbag and horn emblems are simplified. The same goes for AC vents and the seats (not so small). The prototype Model X for example used Model S seats.

It would appear that I was correct, something is up with the steering wheel. I look forward to the spaceship experience that Tesla Motors has planned.
