Stereo completely failing

I've read about people's stereo issues losing punch, but I now lost all rear speakers and subwoofer. Sounds like absolute garbage.

Anyone else?

Happened to me for the first time on my drive home from work today. Reset fixed it. I think I’ve seen one or two other posts here from other people saying they experienced the same bug. I’m currently on 2019.5.15.

A reboot got my stereo back for now.

This last update has been so buggy

If it goes out again, do the 2 button and brake pedal reboot. And if you have time, try the power down reboot - sitting in the driver seat, power down the car, and wait, without leaving the car, 3-5 minutes until all the motors and sounds have stopped. Then restart the car with the brake pedal. Tesla has recommended this for this specific problem in the past, and it seems to work.

I also had this problem and have sent an email to Tesla service asking what to do. Didn’t think about doing a reset so will try that later.

I had to rest once and haven’t had the issue for a few weeks on 5.x. Then I got moved to 9.x and it isn’t happened. Looked like they addressed it in that beta.
