Stereo Muted After Getting In Car

So in my Model 3, the stereo is muted after I get in the car even though I left it on when I exited the car. Is there a setting I'm missing or is there a pattern to this behaviour?

Was it streaming, USB or FM?
I find that when playing from the USB, may times the music is off and grayed out. Not always. Streaming also sometimes takers up to 20 seconds to reconnect.

Happens with FM or Streaming.
