Still stuck on 2018.18.13 - normal?

I've had my car since 6/29, and it came with 2018.18.13. It's been almost 2 weeks, and I keep seeing threads about new builds rolling out, but I haven't gotten a prompt to update. Is this typical or should I have gotten an update by now?

Does anything influence when you get the update? Like does it only download and install when plugged in or anything like that?

I'm still on 2018.18.3 (version prior to 18.13) so don't feel too bad. I don't think anyone knows how the update process works.

Yes, if you are 1 or 2 updates behind, that is relatively normal. Should you get to be 3-4 updates behind, I would call the service center. I had this happen on my MX and it turns out one of the download files were corrupted and prevented the MCU from updating the software. I had to have a mobile tech come out to reset the software.

Only something like 1% (of all tracked cars) are on 2018.18.13. I don't think TeslaFi has 3-only numbers. but it does say 9 3's (of those tracked) are still on 2018.18.13, so you are not alone. If I counted right there are 227 3's with more recent software, so it might be time to complain to the Service Center.
