& I thought Tesla’s couldn’t be stolen... Is there a market for stolen Tesla’s?

I had a Ghost fitted to my last car for this reason, can’t see it working on the Tesla.

Tesla recently sent owners an email warning owners about this, it's not been the issue in the US that it has been over here. Every time I see a steering wheel lock on a Range Rover it reminds me of the late 80s / early 90s.

That's an old article.. doesn't mention pin to drive which kills most attempts at stealing the car (well, they can still tow it onto a flatbed but that's far more noticeable and if they're doing that no car is safe).

Not sure that the keyless hack would work on M3, as it’s not using a standard 433MHz keyfob, it uses Bluetooth or the RFID cards.

That’s not to say that some enterprising criminal gang won’t work it out! Hopefully the M3 is too cheap for them to waste their time with.

I don't use pin to drive but i do keep my key in a protective wallet provided by my insurance company. To be honest I would rather they steal the car than break into the house and force me to give them my pin.
