Stopping mode and very tight space

I also park in a tight garage, and here is what I do.
Set the mode to Creep, it is WAY less stressful to control the car using the brake vs the accelerator.
You still virtually have 1 pedal driving, the car slows down in exactly the same way except for the the final 1mph. Then you tap the brake to stop - a firm press on the brake switches the car to Hold, so you dont have to sit there with your foot on the brake. I love this set-up.

Also buy the sticky foam rolls from amazon that you stick on the garage wall next to your car doors, so you dont worry about hitting the door on the wall when you open it.

I have absolutely no problem moving at turtle speeds when parking my Model 3 using hold mode. It requires a sensitive touch on the accelerator, but that just takes a bit of practice. If it works for you, great. If not, lots of other suggestions here. But I did like RCAF 73’s suggestion of stop blocks.

I did not expect so much activity on a rather mundane topic. Thanks for all the suggestions. Will just have to experiment when it arrives which won't be soon enough.

I've found hold mode to be fantastic for ultra sensitive control. You can ever so slightly rest your foot on the accelerator and move the car forward by the centimeter.
