Stopping Mode Greyed out

While approaching a stop sign today, I took my foot of the accelerator assuming the car would slow down. To my surprise it kept rolling, and I had to hit the break pedal. I checked my settings and found "Stopping Mode" to be greyed out. I rebooted the car (holding both buttons) and everything seemed to work fine. Then 5 minutes later I noticed the same thing and again stopping mode was greyed out.

It is a brake pedal. Anyway, maybe you could not use one pedal driving Hold due to reduced regen.

I've had my Y since June and love one pedal driving. There was no reduced region warning on the screen

Were you driving on snow, ice? Maybe the traction control activated and this disabled the one pedal driving until the next time you started to drive after parking or rebooting.

You can’t change the setting when you’re in Drive mode. Must be in “park”

That’s why it is grayed out.

Reduced regen due to cold weather is why it felt different and didn’t stop maybe the way you expected.
