Tesla has posted a job opening for a store manager in Ottawa.

Maybe they are going to take over the rest of the carling location temporarily? I’d love to not have to drive to mtl for test drives.

I doubt it can be a permanent location though. It is slated down to be another condominium.

Just stopped by today. They’re fully up and running (complete with drivetrain service on older S’s etc).

My understanding is that it’s a service centre only and not a dealership.

Indeed it’s a fully functional service center, doesn’t look like a sales location at this point. It’s nice to finally see service beyond mobile ranger in Ottawa (which is also great) , I lost track of how many people I know that say they don’t feel comfortable without at least one service center nearby (latest being a perfect cybertruck candidate but sending a truck to Montreal just wouldn’t do the trick for someone that depends on their truck for work).

I live a 5 min walk from the location. Put in my model Y order tonight, glad to see they are investing in Ottawa.

Stopped by the Ottawa SC today for some work on my SR+.

Met Patrick. Great guy. This place is definitely just getting off the ground but looks like it’s expanding quickly. Looks like it’s coming along nicely.

As others have mentioned the property is owned by Richcraft and will eventually be a condo tower. They have about two years to find a new space.

Walked by Ottawa service centre last week. Met one of two/three sales team in parking area. Spoke to ‘Joe’ nice guy, they’ve got a desk in the service waiting area. They are providing test drives for prospective buyers and handling the deliveries for Ottawa area.
No news on location of future store.

A friend of mine works there. They said only one of them as their OMVIC license so once enough of them have it, they can do test drives.
