This actually makes more sense. Many areas, such as mine, have almost all utility lines under ground. Flooding is more of an issue than wind for power outage. Also, wind advisories alone most often don't lead to outages. It is not until it gets to wind warning where issues arise. Removing wind advisory seems reasonable.
That's how I noticed. Every time I had a wind advisory it would get triggered. Now 24 hours into the advisory it is still not triggered. Saw an old screen capture I posted here that showed it listed as an event. I then went to the website and noticed the change.
