Strange Bluetooth issue with phone calls

Not sure if its my phone or the car, but has anyone experienced an issue where the first call of the day they can hear me but I can't hear them. Same thing if I am calling no ringing sounds just silence. If I hangup and call again everything works perfectly and will be fine for the rest of the day. Car has not always had the issue, I'm thinking it started in November/December. Anyone else had this before?

I have a Pixel 2 XL running the latest Android version.

The trick is to adjust the call volume once you start the call. This has been a known issue since V9 came out. What firmware build number are you running?

Same problem here with Samsung S4. Will try the volume adjust trick as suggested.

Same here on Samsung Note 9. This is on v9 only, never had this issue before update. I will try the volume up. Thanks for the tip.

So a call starts, I can't hear the other patt, som adjust the volume ... By the steering wheel scroll /volume button ? Or phone.. or on the 17" display, or what ?

Just as a heads up, I emailed Tesla about it from the owner page, Tesla responded to me and said they will send along the report to the proper team. As someone who works in software make sure to include as much detail as possible. Including phone model and version. That way they have enough data to see where the issue is at. Maybe it's worth everyone who has the issue report it from the owner page as well. The more people who say they are having issues the faster it will get fixed.

Same here - with a new iPhone Xs Max running iOS 12.1.2 and tesla firmware 2018.48.12.1

Bought the new iPhone as I thought my old iPhone might have been the issue...but issue prevailed

if the issue occurs, and with the call still open you adjust up or down the call volume by the steering wheel volume buttons, it all comes good.
