Sharing in case someone else has a similar experience.
Today autopilot became unavailable and the driver’s side repeater camera was not functioning. Rebooted twice and powered off but no correction. Being hundreds of miles from home, I went to the nearest SC in hopes someone would find a simple solution. The car was scheduled for an overnight check. I decided to move the car, finding it already in service mode, and to my surprise the camera was again working. So the service appointment was canceled and I hit the road. Autopilot FSD worked as designed as well.
I don’t know if putting the car in service mode triggered a different software reset or the computer self corrected on its own. A mystery to me. My experience may be of help to others with a similar experience.
