Strange Radio Issue

I have had this issue for a while but tesla cant/doesnt know what to do

As i am driving, listening to the radio, it will all of a sudden go quiet and the station screen has a moving circle (thinking), the radio will not come back on until i manually touch another station on the screen. It does not always happen but i would say 5-10 times a month.

This has been happening for 4 months and updates dont fix it.

anyone have this issue before?

It sounds like the car is losing the station (signal interruption), but not reconnecting as it should.

Assuming you have performed the double joystick reboot (Tesla calls it "Restarting the Touchscreen" - see page 51 of the NA Manual), do the Power Cycle as @jrweiss98020 suggested (page 52 of the manual)

Done it plenty of times but the issue comes back once in a while. Thats the frustrating part.

It sounds like the car is losing the station (signal interruption), but not reconnecting as it should.

also done that as directed by tesla. Still happens.
