Strange range behavior

I have a 100D. I parked the car in my garage Saturday night with 50 miles of range left. I forgot to plug it in, so I figured I would wait till Sunday night to charge it. I noticed Sunday night that I was down to 18 miles. Losing 32 miles in my garage seemed very odd, considering that it's about 65 degrees in the garage. This morning I left the house with 298 miles (charged to 90%). It was 295 when I got to work. I went out during lunch and noticed it was up to 315 miles. Any ideas what's going on? Thanks

You're probably in the mode where it displays mileage based on your recent driving, vs ideal based on battery state. I forget the exact terms for the MS, but on the Roadster it's estimated vs ideal.

There is no such mode. Whether you choose rated range or ideal range, the result has nothing to do with your recent driving.
