On my MS 2015 85D I use summon for only two things, backing the car into the garage after unloading groceries out of the trunk and backing into a charging stall at work (concrete pillar blocks the driver door).
Yesterday at the charger, I got out, readied the cable, then used the fob to start the one meter backup. The car did something odd, it paused and inched back 3 times, finally stopping about 5cm from the wall. I have never seen it go so close to an object before, usually I have to coax it back manually. Better have my thumb on the button next time;-)
