Streaming Waze and Amazon Music or Stored Music via Ipad

I'm so used to CarPlay. Is it possible to use TeslaMirror app to mirror Waze while also streaming Amazon Music from my iphone 12 ProMax or an ipad mini? Or am I limited to streaming Waze only and then not having any music in the background? What about text messaging? How would that work if I'm using TeslaMirror? I looked for videos online about this but could not find any.

I'd be more than happy if they just had USB playlists and onboard Pandora. Might switch to spotify because of this.
