Stuck on 2018.49.20

I am stuck on 49.20 for a long time. Is there anything I can do to get the new upgraded software. It use to upgrade all the time. Then I brought it in for the 12k service and I lost a little range and no more upgrades!

Thoughts?

I was getting updates every 3 / 4 weeks, but have been stuck on 2018.49.20 too since January.

You should be able to get 50.6 at least. You might try a reboot, that sometimes helps. SC should be able to see if something is holding it up. 1.8% of TeslaFi fleet is on 48.20, so you have some company.

I am on 49.20 as well. I asked Tesla for an update from Customer Service, but after they looked into the account they said I was up to date. I decided not to try any further until all the latest features get to Model S and X.

Even if a get the 50.6 update, from what I can tell it has nothing 49.20 doesn't have. Might as well wait until 2019 updates get pushed to fleet and then ask for the latest.

This update process is both illogical, and infuriating.

I also am on this version and getting increasingly impatient. I wouldn’t really mind it if I understood it but there seems to be no explanation involved.

3 months old, here! And yeah, the Model 3 guys at least over on Reddit are *unbelievably* smug about it all.

At least we have Dog Mode to look forward to someday. Even in the few MS/MX that got the newer versions, it looks like Dog Mode is all we're getting.

Be glad... I wish my 3 could go back to 50.6. I have 50.6 on my X and AP is so much better on it because it doesn't have as much phantom breaking as my 3 ever since it updated.

I am kind of relieved that I am not the only one stuck on 2018.49.20. I used to get updates every few weeks. Here is hoping for 2019.9 soon. 2018 MX100 MCU2

I'm on 5.15 and I regret it. I drove 300+ miles this past weekend and it phantom brakes every twenty minutes and will cause a migraine due to the whiplash driving experience. I actually wish to revert back to 2018 version until this gets sorted out.

Interestingly I was just told by Tesla support that this (2018.49.20) is a "special build for a small group" and that while engineering has been working on an update, there is no ETA.

I was given this internal build reference "48.intel-1.0.4-BSP-3654-e6f543e439".

I didn't manage to get any details on what was so "special" about it. Oh well...

I was also on 2018.49.20 since 1/25. Also told by Tesla Mobile Service tech on 2/6 that 49.20 was a special build and was the latest at that time.

Two weeks ago, I emailed my local Tesla Service Advisor regarding latest firmware. She checked the log and told me the latest update was pending and on delay for a couple of days because the vehicle didn't have a good strong WiFi connection. Strangely, only about an hour after the email (my car had been parked outside without WiFi connection), I got an update notification and it has been updated to 2019.5.15 since then.

Makes me wonder if there is something wrong/unique about our cars that we have a special build that we are stuck on. According to TeslaFi this firmware is on just 1% of the fleet, most of which appear to be 2018 Model X 100Ds. Makes me a bit nervous.

Yep, our 2018 X 100D is also on 2018.49.20

Just chatted with online support and all they kept saying is make sure you have good Wifi and wait until it is pushed.

I have a 2018 X100D with AP 2.5.
