Will the Roadster go even farther if I use premium elecitricty?

Ha, Here in SoCal we have a 5 tier billing rate. I'm buying top "best" tier-5 electricity @ .33 per kwh so you would think a car would run better on it.

By the way, have you turned on the compression option in the VDS? The charging download goes faster if you do.

The power company is hooked up to the internet. When I plug in the Roadster can it get a virus through the cable so it will crash later?

Yeah ... those darn viruses . So it is recommended you used the ENCRYPTION option in the VDS. Make sure to select "E", enter your PIN, and confirm ... **BEFORE** you plug the cable into the charge port.

Your only other alternative is to ask your electricity provider for whole-house-delousing type of transformer (very expensive!). But that won't do you any good in those public charging stations ...

If all that is true, then I was hoping to use PowerBoost too. When you decompress the power it comes out faster and turbocharges the motor, right?
