Stuttering wipers in auto mode (2019.5.15)

I'm assuming the only fix is for Tesla to release a new update?

Actually with 2019.5.15 on my Model 3 I have commenting to my wife over the last two weeks that the auto wipers appear to be working much better than earlier releases. Previously the wipers appeared to be challenged getting the speed right for current rain conditions but since 5.15 it appears to be much better. It has been raining fairly constantly since last week in San Francisco and wipers have been close to perfect.

The speed is right, but the blades stutter

My blades also stutter but only on auto. In the exact same conditions at the same time if I switch them to a manual setting they’re absolutely smooth. Switch back to auto and they stutter. So bizarre.

Yup ... I see the same thing

We have an MX and I have seen them studded on that on occasion but not on the M3
