Sub Components

Wondering who is making the various major sub assembly components, who makes the motor? We know Continental AG was doing parts of the electronics package but We know the battery is a Tesla/Panasonic partnership, who makes the electronics package like the BMS, etc. I know that mobile eye is doing some of the self driving components. I'm just wondering about the supply chain.

I think Panasonic is now cut out of the battery deal with the Gigafactory up and running.

Tesla makes the motor. They have winding facilities in the Fremont factory.

Most of the parts they actually make themselves. They've been burned by suppliers so they've gone so far as to buy their own parts plant.
