Wiki Subforum Index: Electric Cars and Trucks

I wouldn't mind discussing the New Flyer battery-electric bus (several are in service; I rode one in Chicago recently) or the BYD electric bus (many in service in China, a few in the US). If anyone has anything to say about 'em.

...Plug-in America seems to be a little bit behind, not having noticed that New Flyer battery-electric model exists.

This is an index to all the electric car and truck models discussed in this section of the TMC forums. It is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all EVs. For that please see Plug-in Vehicle Tracker | Plug In America. We also plan to add a separate index for electric motorcycles and similar vehicles.

Feedback and suggestions for additional vehicles to index are most welcome.

BEV = Battery Electric Vehicle (Pure EV)

That is A LOT of cars, what a list man!! Thanks for that, Il have to see what else there is in the future (model 3!)

Suggestion:

In the Index, move...

BEV Tesla Model X (for completeness!)

...from "Future Cars" to "Cars in Current Production".

I took a look at the other cars in the Index, and thought that VW e-up could be moved as well. But apparently it's currently being revised in order to get a bigger battery pack (and perhaps other changes as well), and as I write this, it's no longer possible to order the first generation version of that car...

Might want to add the Hyundai Ioniq EV to the list. I test drove one the other day. It's a nice car and handles nicely, not a weirdmobile and has fast charging. It does have a few drawbacks related to the fact that it's not a purpose built EV. It shares a chassis with it's PHEV and Hybrid brothers so loses a lot of trunk space where the batteries are.

Any idea what this is?
For sale in Nassau, Bahamas
