Agroup of us is organizing a Tesla road trip to Sudbury on the 20th of January, a Saturday, to commemorate the opening of the Concord ( Vaughan Mills ), Barrie North ( Bayfield ), and Sudbury chargers.
The weather is slated to be mild that day in Sudbury with a high of -4 so it should be a nice drive up with as many Teslas as possible.
We meet at Vaughan Mills between 8 and 9 am and then head north at 9 am sharp. We will probably have breakfast in Barrie while we charge. We will do lunch in Sudbury and then head back through Parry Sound and perhaps Huntsville before charging at Barrie then back to Toronto. We might also check out the Bobby Orr Museum in Parry Sound while charging as well.
Anyone with a Tesla is welcome to join. We might even have a Model 3 join us. A Tesla rep we met Tuesday night had just tested the Sudbury to Vaughan Mills with a prototype Model 3 and said it was a breeze even with a Model 3, 70 KW battery. He told us he might join us. Bring your camera. Should be fun!
