Suggestion for Sentry Mode

love sentry mode. I think tesla can have an option for it to always become active when parked rather than have to activate each time. Like folding mirrors you could even have an option not to activate at particular site (like your garage). I know it’s not onerous to activate but like parking break, why not automate its use?

I agree, but there are some who might see it as Tesla snooping on the movements of their customers (even though they don't). Hence the need for the driver to choose to engage the system.

Plus there is bound to be the first instance of Sentry Mode footage used in a divorce case.

I was using sentry mode at work but since my commute is only 15 miles round trip and I can see my car through a window down the hall, it isn't worth the energy consumption--it basically adds 50% to my commute.
