Update: had 4 Continental DWS 06 tires installed for just under $1200. As mentioned, I had OEM Pirelli Scorpion NCS tires on at 38,000 miles were at the end of their life. So far really please with just the fact that I have “new tires” - much better grip and traction in the cold weather here in Chicago. One thing to note, there’s softer feel with the Continentals. It’s 22s so no matter what, you feel every little bump on the road, but the OEM Pirelli’s feel more aggressive in comparison to the Continentals. We’ll see in a couple of years. Again, thanks everyone for your input! Really happy I came here for some perspective.
I had them installed at Discount Tires. Called ahead to ensure they had the proper lifts and watched them do it. I did not have to purchase or bring anything.
Thanks. I have had good luck with Discount Tire in Orlando, and they have even fixed a flat for me for free. I also offered my lift pads but they told me all of the Discount Tire stores were provided the proper pads for Teslas.
