Summon and folding mirrors

I understand why summon would fold in the side mirrors.

But I do not understand why the side mirrors do not automatically unfold once summon has completed and I have opened the door with my phone in pocket.

Anyone else annoyed by this?

When I summon generally there are people around and I need to get moving asap. Takes extra time to unfold the mirrors from the settings.

I think it's a bug where they assume everyone has mirror auto fold on all the time. Obviously you can disable mirror auto fold and if so they won't unfold. So that's kind of a bug. On the other hand I'm almost sure they do unfold once you get to a certain speed.
