Summon + Android Auto (turn off autolaunch!)

tl;dr: Don't enable Android Auto "Autolaunch" if you expect to use Summon!

Like some of you, I miss my Android Auto car (mostly for voice-texting and Google Assistant), so I keep my phone up with Android Auto on. I have it set to autolaunch so when it detects the Tesla is connected via bluetooth, it automatically opens up Android Auto. This has been a really great experience so far!

Until today when I tried using summon for the first time. I opened it up, started backing the car out of a spot and then the car stopped. I looked at the app to see what happened and lo and behold, Android Auto has taken over the screen and closed the Tesla app.

I was able to run over and move the car out of the way, luckily the parking lot was relatively low traffic (although one car was just about to start leaving when this happened).
