Summon Hazardous While Climbing Ladders?

Yesterday I found out not to keep the fob in my front pocket while 12 feet up an orchard ladder.

Car in driveway and garage door open.
Me 12 feet up an orchard ladder 30 feet away.
Fob in front pocket as I leaned against the ladder to stretch toward the farthest branches.

I was only half aware of some beeping sounds but kept on pruning and reaching. I found out upon going to get something in the garage that Blue Max had moved his nose just inside the garage opening. There was a dirty line across the front of the frunk lid.

Momentarily puzzled, I soon worked out what had happened. As I leaned against the ladder, I must have pressed the top of the fob against the ladder and then the front of the fob, initiating Summon Forward mode. Blue Max must have moved forward until he sensed a box that was in the way just inside the garage door, then stopped. My glacially slow Sommer garage door opener apparently was activated by Summon and come down on top of the frunk lid, making a dirty cross-wise mark with the rubber door-bottom gasket, and then reversed direction in response to having struck an obstacle.

No damage, but scary to contemplate what might have happened if I had activated Summon Reverse mode instead. :)

...come down on top of the frunk lid...

If you have garage sensors for obstacles, I would place them at least 18 inches above the ground so it can detect a car's bumper.

Placing them too low below the car's bumper will not stop the garage from closing.

Placing them too high will not protect children/ pets from getting pinched/ closed upon.

Seems like there is a market for dual height object sensors, and/or mirror kits...

OK, children under 18" tall should not be running around the garage. As slow as my garage door is, Tim Conway's old man character could shuffle out of the way with time to spare. :)

The issue is if they are not standing. Heck, I'm a big guy and could fit under an 18" beam.
