I can see a wave of insurance fraudsters just waiting for a "parking lot summon" Tesla to "accidentally" run into them. Even with the dashcam, there's still no driver in the car. Who takes responsibility for injuring a pedestrian?

Maybe this will work great and look good in a demo parking lot or "on private property/private roads only". But in a Walmart parking lot? I don't think so.

I can hardly get the car to park while I am in the car riding the pedals with the self park feature. No chance this will work safely.meeting me at the front door of the mall on its own.

I'm certainly not suggesting it's gonna work, but if the feature is rolled out before anyone who orders today receives a car, I don't think it's exactly dishonest.
