Summon stopped working using the key fob

I used summon all the time, worked great. Recently, it stopped working using my key fob (either one of the two I have.) Still works using the smartphone app. I tried looking at settings but found nothing wrong.

I used to long press the roof button, the car would beep, 4 way flash and fold mirrors and then I could press either the trunk or the frunk button. Now the car simply locks when I long press the roof button.

Any ideas?

Did you check to see if the Require Continuous Press setting was changed? It needs to be set to NO in order to control via the fobs or via the "double tap Park" method.
