It kinda works but yes, not perfect.
I decided to return those because I don’t see any benefit for using them…those areas are already heavily tinted and it’s taking the wow effect from the huge windshield.
Also, if you’re using the rear sun shade, you might as well burn the rear view mirror because you can’t see anything through it.
There aren't too many options. You can't go UNDER the tube in the center, so it necessarily has to go over. Once installed, it looks just fine. Obviously, it can't be 100% flush with the windshield due to the tube that goes to the mirror, so, the width is slightly oversized so it can bend enough to clear that tube. I can't see any other solution as you can't "clip" anything to the tube.
I'm picking up my daughter from school every day and make car line. Even with the tint, my bald head burns like hell without the sunshade. I do have a blackout for my lower windshield and yet, I still burnt my head without the shade. It serves the purpose perfectly for my needs. The one for the hatch is indeed very dark and you can't see through it. It barely lets light through. However, since I have rearview cameras, I don't really need the view out the rear.
All the shades will come off once it's fall here.. I only need them for the summer months..

Yes. I have the visors up since there will be nothing to support it up but the tension around the metal frame of the screen.

It did come with clips, the kind that you stick up on the glass not the one posted on the listing. I did not use them.
The seller is refunding me half of cost because he does not have the 5X silver/black screen to ship.

Anyone ever order the 'window blinds' from DreamCase?
Seem more oriented to privacy and insulation (DreamCase's main focus seems to be making mattress/sleeping solutions for high end cars) but was curious if anyone's got 1st hand experince with them.
Also considering Heatshield too - Windshield Sun Shades, Car Window Shades and Car Window Covers by HeatShield: The Original Windshield Sun Shade
Additional context: do not like being in the sun and plan on leaving the 'top' roof shade installed all the time (this implies DreamCase's option for the windshield won't work as exterior magnets are required), but don't mind order a one-off piece from another manufacture.
Like the idea of complete privacy on all windows, but believe both DreamCase and Heatshield products offer this.

I have the large shade and I personally don't like it because it makes it too dark and claustrophobic-like. What ended up working great for me are these (https://a.co/d/i10gs77). They stay on with static cling and can easily be moved around.
Can you post a picture of how they look from the inside and from the outside? And which size did you buy?
