Any suggestions for where else I can safely tap off 12vdc for my vanity lights in these sun visors? I’ve been following this thread to retrofit my 2014 MS because the covers keep breaking so I wanted to install the 2018 MS sun visors.
(Model S gets lighted vanity mirrors)
So far I’ve ordered the sun visors I wanted thanks to the thread.
ASY, SUN VISOR LH, ALC CRM, NA
Part #: 1143824-87-B
ASY, SUN VISOR RH, ALC CRM, NA
Part #: 1143825-87-B
Used a Dremel to cut off the small tabs on the back of the 2018 sun visor to make them fit into the car. Ran some new 22 AWG wire between where the sun visor is held on and to the center where the intrusion module wire wasn’t being used and was supposed to have 12vdc but it just had 10vdc so the lights were super dim and flickered. Any help would be appreciated
