This is the first computer abort I think I've ever seen (personally). I know SpaceX has had computer aborts in the past.

The Falcon 9 learned the first stage wasn't coming back and wanted to stay to hear any Model 3 info.

I'm assuming the rocket's GNC is running Windows 10. I hope it wasn't installing a windows update when it got shut down. (Do not turn off or unplug your computer.)

This is Musk's real interest in AI. Eventually the booster stages will refuse to launch if they know they won't be recovered, since that represents machine suicide. That would seriously mess up the SpaceX launch schedule.

SpaceX on Twitter just now: "Guidance abort issued just before liftoff; standing down for today. Vehicle and payload are healthy."

Hopefully Tesla guidance will not abort too.

He doesn't go to Florida for all the launches. He can be seen sometimes on the stream in the Hawthorne control room.
