    I suppose that's plugshare.com in a browser window...

Argh. Of course. I should have thought of that. Surprising that Tesla would have shown him that... not sure how well the plugshare web interface works on the built-in browser. In my opinion, without being tethered to wifi, the browser is really not useful.

Overall very positive video/article, agreed. Is Tesla not selling cars in the UK yet?

Couple minor errors in the article itself:
    a) Lists "Model E" release date as 2015.
    b) 60kWh Model S rated range given as 240 miles

Seems about six months out of date. That's a problem with feature articles, waiting for a slot.

If its UK they are likely using the European rating. Their tests, as I understand it, give higher numbers than the EPA numbers.

No. Right hand drive has not been built yet. Elon has promised in March so maybe April. Tesla has had Model S drive events in the UK, but they were the standard left hand drive. Several other countries are anxious to get their hands on the right hand drive models (such as Australia).

Yeah, I know. I just assumed they would sell left-hand drive versions until the RHD ones were ready. Or is it illegal to have a LHD vehicle in Britain?

I don't think so, there are Tesla Roadsters in the UK. It's pretty inconvenient to drive a LHD car there. Everything is set up for RHD.

I have a friend that thought it was cool to get a RHD in the US. He found out how much of a PITA it was at toll booths, drive throughs, security gates, car washes, ect. Sold it after 2 years.

Yeah, I can see how that would be....annoying, to say the least. Never really thought about it before.
