Test drive of an X results in test driver backing into Sunnyvale Showroom. X and S suffer damage. Test Driver hits accelerator as opposed to brake and accelerates through glass front to showroom.
Are you sure it was a Brake-Accelerator mix-up? My guess is that it was more likely a Drive-Reverse confusion. (The stalk on the S and X are, IMO, intuitively backwards...it took me a while to get used to it.)
Well, this couldn’t have happened at a Tesla owned location as they don’t have “dealership” locations
Not sure. She was backing (lurching) then claimed to try and hit brake and accelerated backwards into the showroom. When you are backing an X in the front lot (outside) just outside of the showroom and accelerate through the plate glass window, to the showroom, you end up inside of the showroom with the X colliding into the S which had been sitting in the showroom.
