Sunroof Tint

I’m thinking about adding tint to my Model Y sunroof this weekend because I feel the heat on top of my head on a sunny day in California.

Are there any facts whether tint on the Model Y sunroof will make it crack over time due to the heat? It’s been rumored but I never seen anyone actually having that issue.

I got my front side windows (30%) and a unibrow (5%) tinted for $290 with ceramic tint. I was quoted $1,000 to do the sunroof, due to needing to remove the headliner. I decided to pass on the sunroof for now.

I bought the roof shade and the shade for the rear window. I had to remove the rear window shade because it completely blocked the view. Other wide the roof shade is very good.
