Sunshade UnNeeded!

So i've had the car for a few days, and one thing i came to realize is that there really is no need for a sunshade.

With Cali sun beaming down, the tinted glass does a great job. In fact, I feel like the front glass is overly tinted obstructing the view of the sky. Never once did I feel like i needed a sunshade.

I wonder if anyone feels the same.

I feel like tesla overdid the tinting on the front and made it a tad too dark defeating the purpose of the panoramic front windshield.

Even with the sunshade, I get a headache from the sun especially days when it is 90+. I think they really need to put better heat reflection on that glass.

Read people had great results by applying photosync tint

I've not felt a need for the sunshade either, and I am even afraid it will spoil the view! I have, however, been considering a rear liftgate sunshade for my dogs...

I had my DS show me how to put it on. Took it off moments later. It ruins the panoramic windshield in my opinion. No real issues yet. I'm content without it. It's nice knowing it's there if I need it.

I installed initially, then after having tinted the front side windows, removed it since most of the heat was coming in from them, love the view.

Still waiting for mine, but I doubt I'll use it. I did get a light Photosync tint, and there is noticeable improvement in my perceived heat transmission. I still feel heat on sunny days, but I'm probably just expecting too much. Would not trade it for the panoramic view though. Do love the open feel.

I don't use mine either. Although I do keep it in the trunk, tucked away.

Hmm..now there's an idea worth trying. I will see if putting two limits the heat but I also hate losing the view.

I had to get my windshield tinted with 3M crystalline 70% to be able to use it without sunscreen. Apart from that it gave my wife a headache and made the car a whole lot hotter.

I get a headache too even with the sunshade. I guess too much time spent in air conditioned offices

I don't need sunshade. I have my windshield tinted PhotoSync 75. BTW Tesla did not even send me the sunshade. They probably know I won't be using it anyway.

1 to 4. hot days, i'll blast it at 10 for a few minutes then drop it down to 4
