Sunvisor Failure?

When my car was in the Service Center last week they replaced both sunvisors on their own initiative. I was told they had started to crack. Odd, since I've probably only used them about half a dozen times.

They replaced the right side visor on my car because it was too loose -- it would drop down to vertical. The new one seems to have more "indents" to keep it in the extreme locations.

Notified my Svc Center last week about both of mine. I don't use them much but they were getting loose on the end. Lot of tension in that area. I suspect they redesigned them.

The passengers side swivel connection to the visor of my X cracked as the swivel had become somewhat stiff after a couple of months of use...Tesla replaced both of the visors during a recent SC appointment (apparently a known service notification)

One of our sun visors came apart several months ago and had to be replaced under warranty. It was surprising since we rarely move them.
