But Great Lakes Crossing mall is on the other side of the expressway, as I recall. Parking here to charge and walking across the expressway to the mall is really not feasible. But with Meijer and Target right here it's easy to spend a half hour doing a little shopping anyway.Pretty good location for long distance travel on I-75 since it's near Great Lakes Crossing...

Yes, near, not next to. If Great Lakes Crossing, which has the only Bass Pro Shop in Michigan, is a destination with a wide draw then the super charger is convenient for a day trip recharge. It's convenient to have superchargers near tourist draw locations even if it's not in a "park-and-shop" location. Level 2 chargers would align more with that thought.
In this case, it is much cheaper to charge at homeOr drop the family off at the mall then charge while taking a nap
The exact location is slightly different as you can see in my attached map. It is a much smaller area so I wonder if we are going have less than 8 unites!

It makes sense. It looks like they are installing the transformers and the electrical switch gears in the area closer to the gas station and the superchargers will be across the driveway. It is a strange setup though, I will try to get back there during daylight and take some pictures.Pure speculation of course.
Yeah I guess I am only seeing 8. I thought maybe there were extra stalls in the picture with “Meijer” in the background. Are we seeing more than 8 stalls here? Or is construction just taking up a lot of temporary room?
