I had the opportunity to stop by today and managed to catch the crew at the site. Apparently they were supposed to meet DTE today to turn the power on but DTE cancelled. According to the two guys at the site, they'll be meeting DTE at the Livonia Supercharger tomorrow to turn on the power / install the meter and doing the same thing in Auburn Hills on Monday.

Sounds like the Big Rapids installation is in the same condition, all set waiting on the power and Tesla validation.

I heard from some Tesla folks tonight (Dec 14) that it would be online "soon".

Take that for what it's worth...but I got the feeling that they meant within the next couple weeks Certainly in December.

Time will tell.

The crew at the Auburn Hills site mentioned that as well. If I recall correctly, the installation is complete waiting on the power company but there is an issue with the power company getting an easement to the location. So, probably a bit of a black hole...

I swung by yesterday afternoon. Still no meter, but I noticed that the stalls were numbered. Either this is new or I missed it before...
