A new Supercharger has been built and is waiting for power in Abbotsford BC at the Highstreet Shopping Centre
3122 Mount Lehman Rd, Abbotsford, BC V4X 2M9, Canada (49.058197, -122.378232)

Construction has been confirmed by the crew in Surrey, which is expanding that station to 16 stalls from 8. They say the Supercharger is located in the underground parking at Highstreet.

Although there isn’t an Abbotsford pin for this year, I think this is good enough confirmation for a thread seen the news comes from a construction crew hired by Tesla for the builds. Still, I think it would be fair to wait for proper evidence (photos) before adding this on Supercharge Info.

Looks like 12 stalls on the far west side of the underground parkade in section L. Perfect spots away from everyone and not much traffic in this corner. Nice surprise and 3 crates labelled for Tesla. Looks like urban sized cabinets and not V3. All the plumbing and conduit already in place.

12 stalls for 3 cabinets is uniquely for a V3 Supercharger. Could you also give me an estimate location on a map? Will add this on Supercharge Info!

Approximately, it’s under the Fat Burger which the map shows only the upper level. To get to the chargers you have to turn into the lower parkade at the 3-way stop heading towards Walmart, but immediately turn right towards the northwest end of the parkade. I thought the V3 cabinets were bigger...guess I’m wrong.

The short cabinets you took pictures of have been seen at all of the V3 supercharger sites being built on the Trans-Canada - they are also accompanied by taller cabinets which contain more equipment, and those are probably the cabinets you are thinking of. I don't know if I've seen these short cabinets at any V2 or Urban installs - we will have to see if the large cabinets which would confirm V3 appear at some point soon.

For reference, here is what the full set of cabinets (minus transformer) looks like from a V3 install:

Damn I was there earlier and I thought the chargers where beside the PlugShare chargers s but I guess not. What about the parking spots labelled EV? By the Plugshare chargers.

Those have been labelled for EV vehicles for the past 4 years for Level 1 plugs. The original Chargepoint charger has been offline for the past month but the newer charger east of that is still working.

Ah, haha that makes sense

Well the woman in the Highstreet information desk told me that Tesla is coming sometime next week~ with all the equipment and the chargers will be operational by mid-December!

I just saw the smaller cabinet and assumed it being an urban charger...glad it is V3 then.

Rip... I can only charge to 150kW~ with a 2019 Pre-Raven S. And the new Raven goes to only 200kW. I hope the Plaid Model S/X can charge faster, then it's definitely worth the upgrade.

I wish I could justify paying the luxury taxes on the Plaid X/S and luxury vehicle insurance through ICBC. Just doesn’t make sense to pay 35% in taxes and $7K/yr on insurance, so I hope the Cybertruck is less than $125K cdn for the Tri Motor AWD fully loaded. In the meantime I’m enjoying my P3D and my wife’s X100D.

Assuming $69,990 (70k) USD to Cad it would be around $93,006 CAD, but... We will have to enjoy all the add on options and the price could go north of 100k as you said :(

When I put my $150cdn deposit down, I clicked on the $9200 FSD box and assuming white interior will be another $1300, cost of the faux marble dash (not a fan, just give me plain brushed steel) and the price is already over $100K. Who knows what other options there will be on the Cybertruck.

ATV option? Haha probably $5k-10K USD~ and “flamethrower” option. Probably about half a dozen or so options and everyone who gets the truck will want a couple epic options pushing the price up to that $125k CND mark

Abbotsford, BC

Along National Highways: TCH/BC-1
Along Provincial Highways (<=8km): None

TCH/BC-1:

From: Start (Downtown Victoria, BC) - 195.4 km
To: Hope, BC - 89.4 km
Diversion: 1.8 km
To: Kamloops, BC - 360.9 km*

To: Merritt, BC (TCH/BC-1, BC-5) - 209.1 km*

A Supercharger on the TCH east of Vancouver, BC providing density and capacity.

* Kamloops, BC is the next Supercharger on the TCH after Hope, BC, but the faster, more direct route is to take BC-5 and pass through Merritt, BC
