I contacted the city of Alamosa concerning the planned Supercharger. They said that there was talk of a Supercharger about a year ago but so far no plans have been submitted and no permits have been issued. It looks like this one might slip to 2018.

It looks like Alamosa is on Tesla's map again, this time with a target opening of Q2 2023.

Narrator: It will not more than double.
That would be extremely impressive if they could pull that off. As of 2/10/23, Tesla had 4,750 supercharger stations, leaving 689 days until the end of 2024. To achieve their goal of doubling that, they would need to install 6.9 stations per day, whereas over the previous year, they had installed stations at a rate of only 4.2 per day.

If Tesla builds to also accommodate CCS the number of plugs per station will be a good 1.5 - 2.0x greater than in the past. I'm pretty sure that Tesla counts in growth by plugs and not by locations
