Things seem to be on track this week. High temp today will be 106F , so I was surprised to see people today putting on the stands.
We can now see the configuration, these will not be the type that we have to squeeze between, but will be behind the cars.
An Xcel Energy truck was onsite , but no transformer yet. That may be the rate limiting step again.

I might also add that this project removed almost none of the parking surface. They installed the Tesla pylons behind an existing curb and dug trenches behind the curb. The only concrete removed was around the 4 cabinets.
So the repaving part of the project should be minimal. It will be interesting to see if they replace with the original style concrete or simply apply asphalt.
The wires for the transformer pad are in place, but nothing else.

love how the charging stalls are right in front of the gas prices sign. lol. and super glad to see that more and more charging/ gas stations combinations are coming. smart business move all along.

Spoke to crew working today (Sunday), and found out the following schedule :
Monday - scheduled to have transformer landed and installed by Xcel Energy.
Wednesday June 22 - hope to be finished
Thursday June 23 - penciled in for commissioning by Tesla.

No transformer today but everything else appears ready to go. Construction crew is gone. Will post pics when I get home.

Yes, without a transformer it looks unlikely to be done by Thursday. Xcel Energy still has a lot to do. There is very little work done on connection at the power pole also.
The Tesla crew looks complete. All the parking lot is clean, new stripes painted, and all pedestals are complete.

Similar to other new superchargers Amarillo Lakeside isn’t on the in-car navigation map yet. But it iS on the Tesla phone app as available.
