Does any body know what the latest is with this DA? Has it been advertised, accepted, rejected, building demolished, commenced, what?

Went past today, no progress visible from outside.

Yes the DA was approved on 11 Jan with conditions. I don't think the building will be demolished just refurbished, since the DA cost is only $2.53M. No idea when they plan to start work but you would think not far away because they would want to be ready for the influx of Model 3s early next year.

I was at this site today and while there are building works going on in Unit 1 and the surrounding business park, there was nothing to indicate that the work's being done for Tesla (so no signs, superchargers, etc).

Well I suppose they still have a year before the Model 3 flood arrives...

Signage has been installed and rumours through the grapevine are saying this service centre will be open in the next few weeks. A Tesla contact has let me know this will not be replacing St Leonards as a service location, they'll be using both.

I don't believe so, I don't think they've started on them just yet. Also be aware that they won't be listed in-car and will only be properly available after hours as during business hours they'll be reserved for service/delivery.

On a loosely related note, is there any news regarding the Canberra supercharger? The site says "winter 2018" which ends this month - is it looking like it'll be finished or even started this month?

Apparently the seasons are northern hemisphere.

They updated all of the dates to southern hemisphere a few months back. You'll notice the "Great Ocean Road" supercharger says "Spring 2018", which has already passed for Northern Hemisphere.

My delivery rep said my 100D will be available from the Alexandria delivery centre Friday this week. He said all deliveries will now be made from that location from now on

Well, deliveries.. they only happen once per car! Probably makes a lot more sense to only have one site doing it.

St Leonards was my choice but he said the car would have to be driven across there after being sorted at Alexandria. Said all deliveries are now through Alexandria.

Oh yay, a service centre actually south of the bridge. I've never enjoyed those 45min-1hr trips from my neck of the woods just to fix a rattle...
