I like the Mt Shasta SC, it's in the parking lot of a nice Best Western.
I also wish they'd put in a supercharger in Roseburg, OR. .....
me too. Shasta is such a pretty place. it was the first place I ever saw a line for a supercharger, because there are only 4 charge heads. (they were waiting for me...sorry 'bout that. I was watching the game on TV in the very nice lounge inside the Best Western).
Springfield-Grants Pass is just a shade long, especially southbound in wet weather. There's a casino with a /huge/ parking lot just south of Roseburg that would be the perfect place. There's already a rest area in it.

We were driving north from Seattle yesterday evening, planned on charging a bit in Burlington. While driving a new SC symbol popped up in Arlington. As we parked, the security guard rolled up in his LEAF and said that the power company employees had left a couple of hours ago and that we were the first to use it. Seems like a nice location.View attachment 233473
Yes because diverting 2 miles to Burlington was so difficult lol. This should make the trip back from the San Juans a lot easier.
Thanks for the notes. I still think Forks is a more crucial spot, but agree this is a valuable location. Can't wait to visit the peninsula again. So when I first learned about this Supercharger I was a bit miffed.
It seemed like an odd location, and rather pointless.
But, after being there I think I was a bit wrong. It's a well lit place with lots of people around including security so it's likely going to be safe 24/7, and then you have easy access to a bathroom which again is likely 24/7.
The food options seem pretty solid, and hey if you're bored there is always something to do.
I imagine some people will visit just to go to the Casino and they'll do the Valet thing.
It's just a really nice place, and I highly recommend visiting if only to check it out.
I expected it to be empty on a late Saturday night, but there were three other people charging when I arrived.
I agree - Tulalip really dropped the ball by not landing the SuperCharger there. (And it would have been easier to get to)We were out for a drive today and stopped by. As if to prove the point on why businesses should do this, the wife and I dropped $100 on gambling and another $40 on some beers and food. So much for “free” supercharging.
Great little casino with two Leaf security cars driving the parking lot frequently.
