Tesla Motors Club
Hunted around Marysville and Arlington for about an hour today and finally found it at Angel of the Winds Casino. It is on the outer edge of the casino parking lot near the gas pumps. There are 16 charging spaces, 14 back-in and 2 pull-in. All of them have signs saying Tesla vehicle charging only.
The bollards and charge cables as well as the signage are all complete, but the bollards are not yet numbered. The enclosure looked complete but had padlocks on it and I could not see what was inside. There is a transformer near the enclosure but there is also another concrete pad that is empty. My thought was that the other transformer may have already been there for another purpose and the empty pad is awaiting a transformer for the supercharger, but that is just a guess.
I took a lot of pics but I cannot easily upload them right now and I am busy with work for the next few hours. I will post them as soon as I can, which will probably be some time on Sunday.
This location is a 2-mile diversion from I-5 (one way, so 4 miles total) and is closer to Burlington than I would have expected. This casino has had destination chargers for a while now despite their clientele not being typical of Tesla drivers. I'm guessing someone in a position of power at the casino either drives a Tesla or is just very pro-EV so this is just a case of Tesla taking advantage of an eager partner with a location near a major freeway and getting a large supercharger installed with relatively little hassle.
