Really looks like Tesla doesn't want a repeat of previous jams on US-101.

We stayed in Arroyo Grande on vacation maybe two years ago when SpaceX was launching from Vandenberg. The B&B owner said from his property he has watched rocket launches because they are at a higher elevation and no obstructions over the Pacific towards Vandenberg. We caught a movie at the Regal Theater so know exactly where this is. Good location. Nice area in general.

All of the equipment seems to be there. Just need to wire it up. The movie theaters, now closed, are in the background. The chargers are between the theaters and the previous Starbucks location. It's too far to walk to the new Starbucks, but there is an In-N-Out, Blaze Pizza, Palo Mesa Pizza, Poke Morro, and Jaba Juice very close. Baha Fresh and Trader Joes is just across the street.

Just drove by. Still shrink-wrapped but otherwise looks 100% ready. It’s great we have so many right here in this area but being that we live here, it‘s not so useful unless we had an emergency need to charge up fast and head north or south. Great advertising with 4 supercharging stations within 15 minutes of one another. Tesla Will own SLO COUNTY EV market For a long time.

Note that there appears to be SC parking on both sides of the chargers. I have not seen that before.
I don‘t think that’s the case. Stalls are set in back left corner of the spots closest to us with the Tesla signs, and the stall side where the supercharger cable connects to charging stall is on the side closest to driver door so that the cable can swing out to charge port. Only one charger is set up to work on the opposite side and that’s the closest one to us in picture opposite the handicap stall. Maybe you can squeeze something in if someone is ICEing but it does not look like intended use case

Agree. The opposite side tire curbs are way too far from the charging cable IMO to reach. Suspect they had torn up that area when doing the installation and had agreed to repave and stripe. The curbs on that side help prevent anyone from hitting the SC units.

Was checking in to see if location active yet but looks not yet.
