Not a good location. If your traveling south then you would have to go back north after charging to get on 95 and if your traveling north you would have to go south to charge and then go back north to get on 95. Not convenient. Hopefully its just a flag location.

Exit 89 and 92 are both right there with on ramps in both directions.

There is an exit just north and just south of the station. You get off one, go to charge and then get back on the other whether traveling north or south. Very convenient.

Ashland, VA is under construction.
This location isn't all that quick to get to from either the north or the south. It's a curious choice given that there are Wawas located right at both the north and south exits off of I-95 from here.

I agree. I’ve used SCers that have been more than 5 miles off the interstate (Louisville) so 2 miles looks Easy Peasy.

Yep, not bad. And the road it’s on, Rt. 1, parallels I-95, so you just continue the direction you were headed after charging to get back on 95. No backtrackin.

I know it's been a bit, but has anyone swung by to check on the construction progress? I'd love to make use of a V3 SC instead of Glen Allen for my Thanksgiving driving. I know that's a bit of a long shot, but figured I'd ask anyways.
There's no meter or transformer yet, but this site is otherwise tidied up.

Do folks think this will be open by Dec 22nd? Will be traveling to southern MD over Christmas. It would be a better stop for us than Glen Allen.
I wouldn't count on it being open by then, but I'll be able to swing by and provide an update in a few days.
The only changes I see are the new white flags along the back of the property for Dominion's proposed cable route.
